Currently, my team is working on integrating Live Person with Aprimo Marketing Studio and bringing information from pre-chat surveys into Aprimo. We’re doing so by pulling in information from the chat transcripts via an API.
For one of our non-required pre-chat survey fields, we have the default text “Telephone*” filled in the text box. Once the user clicks on the field, the default text gets deleted and the visitor can type in their phone number. It appears that when the visitor opts to not fill in this field, the transcript records “Telephone*” into the transcript and we end up pulling “Telephone*” into our Aprimo telephone field.
Is this configurable on LivePerson's end to not save that default text into the transcript?
