When agents are away from their desk, they want their console status to go to 'away' automatically.
The way (that I understand) to do this is to set Account Setup > Settings > Login Policy > Idle Operator Policy to enabled and to 'lock the operator console'. Locking the operator console will move the operator to the Away state and require them to enter their password to unlock.
The problem with using this policy is that it applies to all agents/skill groups and some chat teams work mainly in other tools and only go to LP when they get the alarm for incoming chat. These people have to keep logging back in.
Is there a way to set an Idle policy by skill group or by operator? Or can you only set it across all operators?
Is there a way to moving to 'away' state automatically without having to log back in every time?
