XMPP Connection Settings

I have confirmed that my Developer Account is working using a simple Chat Button and the Live Person (Timpani Chat v 9.1.0.1 build 14) application.

 

I have also set up an OpenFire Server according to the http://community.liveperson.com/docs/DOC-1202 document.

 

I assume that on the OpenFire Server, it should appear that <account_number>@<myopenfireserver.domain.com> is online/offline and chats should be initiated accordingly.  I am not receiving any traffic on the plugin, and it is not clear what to do next to start utilizing the XMPP Plugin.

 

Do we need to set up a new user on the OpenFire Server for the LP Account?

How are Roster and Presence packets handled by the Plugin?

Are there particular ports that need to be open on the OpenFire server, or is all communication between OpenFire and LP done over an open connection intitiated by the Plugin?
